Fantastic, fantastic show at the Agora Theater in Cleveland last night.
The place was just about full (2,000 or so), with a ton of Canadians in
attendance.
The Watchmen were excellent, Rob Baker could be seen perched above and
behind the stage checking out some of their set. After the show, people
were buying LOTS of Watchmen CD's, they definitely impressed.
Gord did lots of rambling about the hurricane hitting the southeast, we
were waiting for a line or two about our big 5.2 earthquake. (doesn't he
watch Headline News ?)
A tremendous atmosphere, with the crowd singing along on just about every
song. Gord had the crowd eating out of the palm of his hand. Not too much
crowd surfing, there was no pre-show announcement about it like at some
other shows, but Gord did say something about crowd surfing being a "Bush
thing".
