Bill's Bar, Boston, Massachusetts August 10th, 1998 review by Gerald Oskoboiny via Henhouse mailing list

Well, surprise, surprise, it rocked! I hadn't seen them before in
any venue smaller than 15,000 people or so, so it was pretty hard
to be disappointed.

Most of the band except Gord D went to Atlas next door to Bill's Bar
for dinner before the show, from around 6-7pm or so. We happened to
be sitting just a couple booths away from them having a few drinks
before the show, which was pretty cool.

We didn't go into Bill's Bar until around 7:20, and I wish I had lined
up earlier because it was hard to get close to the stage after the bar
had filled up; I ended up about 6 rows back.

I don't remember the exact set list; probably someone else will post it.
The last song of the first set was Fire in the Hole, which really rocked.
The encore was Grace, Too, The Rules, then Little Bones; there was only
one encore. The total playing time was just over 1.5 hours which seemed
really short.

If anyone has an extra ticket for any of the remaining shows this week,
please get in touch with me ASAP!
