*also includuing lyrics from impossibilium (hard to say...bad
accoustics)
**He started the lyrics to 50 mission Cap using Pierre Trudeau in
place of Bill Barilko. This version was mellow...a lead up to what
sounded like a cover song that I was supposed to know but didn't.

Highlights to me include when Gordie fucked up the words to Wheat
Kings and then apoligized at the end of the the verse.(under his
breath) He sang the fixed version of the verse at the extended end
("There's a museum...) Other wise, it was the best version of Wheat
Kings I've seen 'em do live. ...On that same note Gordie fucked up the
words to Blown at High Dough too. I know what you're thinking...Gord
can change the words however he pleases, but I think even he was
probably cursing himself at the end of this show.

Ahead by a Century was fantastic. It was the first time I've seen it
live, and it was incredably well done.

For the most part, Gord seemed unusually reserved, maybe he'll come
around for tonights show. There was no lack of effort form the guys
though. As usual Johnny was going nuts back there, and remains, in my
mind, one of the hardest working drummers in rock and roll.

A hard tight show....Not the best I've ever seen em'. But a great show
none the less. I think everyone will agree with me that the Hip is
turning into a fine tuned machine on stage, as opposed to the raw
energy that we used to see. I'll miss the Hip of old, but I'm not
complaining with the Hip of new.

If you're seeing the show tonight here in Edmonton...or wherever you
are, enjoy. I hope you as well can take a couple extra seconds and
post your obsevations.
Fare thee Well
