Paradiso, Amsterdam, Holland  June 4th, 2000  show review by Harry Koldenhoven via Henhouse mailing list

I've been there sundaynight and it was my 7th time I say the guys, they were great, but.............. I've seen them better. I'm also a great fan of the more old songs from up to here/road apples and fully completely: from these albums they only played: New orleans is sinking, Three pistols, Courage and 100th meridian. A lot of songs from Music@Work I've heard.

Well, we're off to see the Hip in Brussels tonight.  Scored tickets from Edgar for the Hip in Amsterdam last night (whoo!!) and was right up at the stage the whole night.  Great show.  They were in fine form and Amsterdam is a great place to see a show.
Opened with "Something On" then "Grace II", "Music at work" and more.  Can't recall all.  Will post setlist when I'm able.  Did not play "50 Mission.." or "Nautical..."  :( "100th Meridian" was outstanding. "Little Bones" was in the encores.  "Gift Shop" was best I've seen...
Scored one of the setlists off the stage after the show.
We arrived at 8:30 and missed Sloan!! They came on really early, like right after 7:30.  I'll try not to miss them tonight in Brussels.
