My friend Gavin and I went to the show in Combined Locks, Wisconsin (population 2,450). The
Hip played at a bar called Ryan's, and there were only about 400 people there. It was absolutely
amazing. I had a small Canadian flag, which I waved the entire show. Gordie came and talked to us
after the show and he also signed my flag. After warning me that he was going to get " artsy on my
ass" he wrote: " Long May Your Big Jig Draw" Atta-boy Gordie, you're the man! Anyway, I had
such a wicked time, and I got to meet all sorts of die-hard Hip fans from all over. My question is
were any of you there? Or do any of you have a story to tell about a time when you saw the Hip in a
small venue?
