Ý no suprises, but a very, very solid performance, their first in sin city in six years.Ý gord was off the hook, easily his best night antics-wise in the three shows I've seen in the last few days.Ý I begged a few guys i met with backstage passes to ask them to play pistols tonight in AZ.Ý we'll see what happens.

Just got back home from the Vegas show... Which was great...
I have a special request if anyone taped the show please let me know...I'll do what I can to trade for a copy (or you could upload it to my FTP site ftp.thehundredthmeridian.com).
Here's the story...
My fiancé and I back in April I believe planned to head out to Vegas, see the Hip show, and get married the next day at the hotel.
The night before the show while walking around Mandalay Bay, we met the guys... They were GREAT. We quickly told them our story about how we flew out from New York to see the show and get married. They wished us luck and we talked briefly. They were so nice to take a few moments and talk with us.
The next day, we got right into the show and were front and center on the floor. What a GREAT place to see the Hip play. The House of Blues is an excellent venue. The sound was great the SHOW was great. (Hello to the cool people we met from Calgary and Ontario up front.)
The band left for the encore and came back a few minutes later to play the final 3 songs of the night. Right before they started to play, Gord said (I'm paraphrasing here) that this next song is for our friends from New York who came out to get married congratulations - and they all waved down to us wishing us luck. It was great... Then went into the song Grace, Too.
So, this was a special night for my wife and I... If anyone taped the show, please shoot me an email I'd love to have a copy.
Thanks!
Jerremy
