The Hip Tracker

TTH: 2007-07-04 – Bala, ON

I’m most of the way through the editing process for this DVD and this pose by Gord D made me laugh out loud… any Hip fan out there with a high res digital of this pose, please send it my way.

.bg

There have been an alarming number of requests from users with email addresses ending in .bg for invites to thehiptracker. I’ve emailed most of them back asking why they want an account but none have responded.

Before the hack we were averaging 25 new members from .bg addresses per day! And none of them ever uploaded or downloaded anything.

Can anyone explain why thehiptracker would be in the comments on these pages:

I’ve got more pages to link, but it’s time for dinner.

The Hip Tracker 3.0 Launches

Hello Fans! We just launched a brand new version of The Hip Tracker and invite you all to check it out. There is one major change from previous version in that this one is private and new users can only gain access if invited by a current user.

This was done to prevent some unwanted users from gaining access to the site – everyone hopefully remembers the hacker incident…

Send an email to trackerinvites@thehiptracker.com if you want an invite. Everyone, except those who hacked us, will be sent an invite.

” Is there some kind of unrest in the pit? What’s wrong? Please, I want to know. It has an effect. I could try to ignore you, but that’s not the ticket you bought.”

Source: ??? > ??? > CDR > EAC > CD Wave > FLAC

Notes: There is some kind of digi noise in d2t3. Not sure what it is.

Show Notes: This was the two-set “Evening with The Tragically Hip” tour from fall 2000. Chris Brown played keyboards and Kate Fenner did back-up vocals, harmonies, and tambourine. There were some particularly loud and rude folks down in the pit, which Gordie repeatedly directed rants and comments toward. It eventually led to Gord calling it quits during the very first encore, before completing “The Completists”. The source is unknown, but it is a great recording of a great show! Thanks to Pat from Buffalo for the CD’s!

TORRENT: Best Of 2006

The Tragically Hip – The Best Of 2006

This compilation contains recordings from 2006. Many are from different equipment and tapers. Therefore, the quality of each song varies, some more drastically than others. A special thanks to all the tapers who recorded all the shows contained in this compilation. Information on each source is available by searching for the respectable shows on www.thehiptracker.com. Tracks from the Canadian club dates were taken from the markslog torrent. Also, a special thanks to Corby Hart who designed some amazing artwork that is included in this torrent. Another thanks to Chris Kirkpatrick who allowed me to have access to some shows that were not quite ready to be posted on the tracker.
